The New Orleans Nubee blog was started to document my journey from moving from a small city in south eastern Pennsylvania, just about 40 minutes north of Philadelphia to the wonderful city of New Orleans.  Originally I’m from an even smaller town in the heart of coal country in Northeastern PA where Yuengling Beer (Lager), Mrs. T’s Pierogies, Tasty Kakes and Coal are all king.

Now as I wean myself off of Diet Lemonade Tea from WaWa (yes, there aren’t any of those in the Big Easy) …. it’s an adventure finding the new things that will replace the old, the new places that will become part of my life and the new friends and events that will fill up days, nights and weekends.

Come join my adventure (along with my pets and my housemate Mikey), I promise lots of snark, lots of laughs and to share even the most awkward ”nubee” moments with y’all.
